Café Pergolesi

Café Pergolesi has a unique atmosphere nothing else. The customers I am seeing are not part of pop culture and they do not seem to be what they want. The cafe itself is an independent business in the downtown of Santa Cruz, on Cedar Street in the street parallel to the city's central tourist shopping area, Pacific Avenue. It is conveniently located near the hustle and bustle of the city center, but tourists do not see. This may be because Café Pergolesi is running in an old house.

Café Procope was founded in Paris in 1686, and in the 1720s there were about 400 cafes in the city.
