Lacey Bittner is the hero. She is a teenage girl living with her mother Campbell and her mother's boyfriend David. Lacy is positive, honest, diligent, efficient and kind. When someone is rude, she communicates her feelings to them. For example, when she thought that her mother would not make it in time, she told her mother. Whenever I make a tree hut or work like cleaning a ranch for a rancher, I always arrive late at night until completion. She worked hard to adapt to all activities, including school, exercise, care of horses; she was responsible. Lacy is still happy with them, even though her mother does not get along well with other families.
