Business negotiation Japan VS Profile of US: Some skills are necessary to tackle any business. This usually involves negotiations, which are defined as voluntary proceedings for parties to agree on common business issues (Cellich and Jain 2004). One of the main objectives of this process is not to strengthen the elements of immediate business, to acquire better transactions, and to accept or refuse what the other party has already provided. However, according to Alder (1991), regardless of cultural differences, the negotiation process involves business communication, information exchange and decision-making.
Business talks are influenced by business culture. As a basic business activity, negotiations determine the success and profitability of international business. Business culture influences the progress, place, style and strategy of negotiations (Leung, Bhagat, Buchan, Erez & Gibson, 2005). For example, Americans tend to chase tracking rather than long conversations and always select an official business base for negotiation. On the contrary, the Chinese are against them. Culture affects the management style of international business (Muñoz-Seca & Riverola, 2011). Management style varies from culture to culture. For example, management is seen as a special achievement in American culture, and motivates others to achieve production (Merish, 2008). However, employees do not need inspiration to work hard in Germany, they are proud of their professional skills and ethics.
The interdependence and the result of negotiations between culture and international business negotiation methods are increasing. In this article we will examine the impact of culture on the process and results of international business negotiations. In this article, I will first explain the concept of culture and the concept of international business negotiation. It then evaluates the interdependence between them and the possible influence of this interdependence. The conclusion will be derived from the discussion of the paper. In cultural concept literature, culture is designed in many ways. The concept of culture should be regarded as a collective phenomenon. Each group is composed of individuals and actually expresses culture through these individuals, but culture only occurs when all or most of the people making up the group are sharing it .
Introduction People often argue that cultural conflicts are forced when cross-cultural businessmen negotiate commerce. I do not agree with this view. Certainly, cultural differences may affect negotiations, but in an appropriate way to deal with the differences, cultural conflicts are particularly undesirable, especially in negotiations with China. As Sun Tzu suggests in his book "The Art of War" "If you understand your enemies and understand yourself, you will win all the fighting" (Sun Tzu 1913 )
