Burial at Thebes

Antigone's central conflict has talked to people about the way people live and the violent circumstances that they have lived for centuries. The less controversial is mainly the family struggle. The dispute between brothers and sisters (Antigon and Isemen) and the conflict between the father and son (Cleon and Hemon) are examples of many internal conflicts of families. The conflict between the ruler and the people (chorus / guard) and his adviser (Tiresias) caused a central conflict between rulers and rebels, as represented by Kryon and Antigone .

Main Conflict • Antigone's main dispute took place between Kryon and Antigone.
