Let's bring the world to your family, family and community by welcoming international high school exchange students. By hosting students for several weeks or grade, you will share culture and form a lifelong bond.

These wonderful young people gathered from all over the world have received a competitive, merit-based scholarship from the US State Department. This will allow you to enter local high schools in all 50 states and live with families in urban, rural and suburban communities. These exchange students are participating in the Congress - Jewish Exchange (CBYX) program, the future leadership exchange (FLEX) program, and the Youth Exchange and Learning (YES) program.

After selection, students should maintain a high standard of academic achievement, understand American history and society, and participate in community service. The volunteer host family will support exchange students by providing comfortable and nutritious families, nutritious meals, and interaction with school activities.

To get started as a host family or school, fill out the following interest form. The local coordinator in your area will contact you for details.

Education and Cultural Affairs Exchange Program: The US State Department offers a variety of international educational programs to undergraduate and graduate high school students and university students. This is a financial assistance program by the Congressional Assembly of the Department of State Department of Education and Culture named after the late Congressman Benjamin A. Gilman from New York state. In accordance with his support, this plan was enacted under the 2000 International Academic Opportunity Law. Shortly thereafter, the Gillman Parliamentarian served as a member of the House of Representatives for thirty years and retired after served as chairman of the House Foreign Relations Committee. Studying abroad is a special experience for each participating student. Living and learning in different countries in different environments not only expose our students to different perspectives but also add rich social and cultural experiences.
