Bullying Provoked by Differences in Gender, Sexuality, Religion, Race

In November 2012, a 14-year-old girl committed suicide in Canada after being threatened by two students for the "controversy" of girls relations. Last year, a freshman at Rutgers University posted a video revealing that his real sexuality was discovered and posted on a famous website so that all universities can be seen. The famous "Columbine Shooting" shocked the world as it was said that the shooting game was chosen at school and was bullied.

"Prejudice-based" or "identity-based" bullying is defined as a student's specific bullying based on its race, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, disability, religion, socio-economic status or weight. The Bureau of Citizenship of the US Department of Education of the US Bureau of Education is committed to identifying and preventing prejudice based bullying and to prevent specific harassment based on prejudice such as basic sex or sexual orientation prohibiting discrimination under Article 9 of federal law I urge the school to be wary of teaching about the law. Article 504 or Chapter 2, protect persons with disabilities, and fourth, protect individuals from harassment based on religion, race, or common descendants

Hate bullying is defined by the US Department of Education as sacrificing different (and inferior) sex, race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation (Schwartz, 1999). Racial bullying is dangerous for ethnic minority children. Racial bullying often begins at the pre-school stage and will be taught by parents deliberately. Minority students often gather in small groups equivalent to their own culture and are not part of the whole student's body. The common way used in racial bullying is abusive (Coy, 2001).

There is a strong correlation between prejudice and bullying. The target of bullying comes from groups that are usually left behind because of certain characteristics (race, immigration status, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, gender representation / identity or scale etc). About 40% of junior high and high school students in California reported that they were bullied in the past year in a large-scale study conducted by Professor Stephen T. Russell of the University of Arizona. Analyzing these events, Mr. Russell concludes that 75% of bullying is due to specific prejudice.
