Nearly half of children are experiencing one or more bad childhood experiences (ACE) such as poverty, divorce, neglect, homelessness, substance abuse, domestic violence, or imprisonment by parents. These students often enter school and their behavior is not well integrated with the typical school environment. During the 2016-2017 academic year, the resilience team in the district 122 educates employees about dissatisfied child experience (ACES), gathers data on the success of students and employee's job satisfaction, and implements self-care for employees I promise that.
