Building Cybersecurity Awareness: The need for evidence-based framing strategies

Because we could not build cyber security, we could not create an appropriate policy. This article provides challenges in building cyber security policies and better strategies for communicating cyber security. The spread of cyber security faces a paradox that society has taken appropriate measures to deal with these threats. The controversial nature of limited visibility, complexity of social technology, ambiguity, and cyber security complicates decision making. Using the framework's utopian or gistopian views may be counterproductive and may lead to ignoring evidence. Instead, we will propose an evidence-based framework strategy to raise social and political awareness of cyber security and to help identify problems.

Awareness of cyber security is the foundation of a powerful cyber security worker, but it is only the first step to maximize the possibilities of digital economy. The mutual relationship between the growing reliance on the Internet and technology is not without problems.
