There are relatively few similarities between the society found in Brazil and the society discovered in the Andes highlands. Most of the residents of the Andean Highlands are Incas, the largest number being found in Peru. Residents in Brazil are mainly concentrated in the Amazon basin. The people of the Andean Highlands are mainly Inca civilizations (the name of the ruler, not the race). However, the geographical location of these societies is not the only difference between these groups.

The Portuguese colonial building was the first building to travel to Brazil. It was the foundation of all Brazilian architecture for centuries. In the 19th century Brazilian Empire, Brazil pursued the trend of Europe and adopted the neoclassical and Gothic resurrected architecture. Then in the 20th century, especially in Brazilia, Brazil tried modernist building.
