Primary brain tumors are derived from many types of brain tissue (eg, glial cells, astrocytes, and other brain cell types). Metastatic brain tumors are caused by the spread of cancer cells from the body organs to the brain. However, the reasons for the change from normal cells to cancer cells in metastatic and primary brain tumors are not completely understood. Data collected by research scientists indicates that people with particular risk factors are more likely to develop brain tumors. Individuals with risk factors such as refineries, jet fuel processors, or chemical substances such as benzene, chemists, antiseptics, rubber industrial workers, etc. have a higher incidence of brain tumors than the general population. Several families have several members of brain tumors, but genetics (genetic characteristics from parents to children) have not been identified as a cause of brain tumors.

Brain tumors - Brain tumors can be roughly divided into two types. Primary brain tumor occurs in the brain. Metastatic brain tumor begins at the rest of the body and moves to the brain. According to the American Brain Oncology Association, brain tumor is the most common solid tumor in children, the second most common malignancy in children. Brain tumors are the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in men under the age of 40 and are the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in women under the age of 20.
