Ray Bradbury was born in Waukegan, Illinois in 1920. He is the third son of Leonard Spaulding Bradbury and Esther Marie Moberg Bradbury. In the autumn of 1926, the family of Ray Bradbury moved from Waukeen, Illinois, to Tucson, Arizona but returned to Waukegan in May 1927. By 1931 he began writing his own story on a butcher's paper. Ray Bradbury was born in Waukegan, Illinois on August 22, 1920, when he was in the early days.
