This book consists of three parts. In Part 1, there are five chapters, focusing on what is the main problem and why it is difficult to answer them. In the second part there are 9 chapters detailing N.T. Wright's idea of Jesus' public utility and his approach to Palestine in the first century. The third part of the book, the last chapter, will challenge the reader to tackle the problems of Jesus' life and ministry. The first part of this book begins with a light, tells the reader about his opinion and about his views on how people, including the church, ignore Jesus and respect his rule.
I recently listened to N. T. Wright's Simply Jesus. (This course is planned to be read in conjunction with Professor Wright's book "Simple Jesus." In Simple Jesus, NT Light, a best-selling writer and a major biblical scholar, summarizes the 200-year-old modern biblical scholarship Simulate how Christians can do, tell stories often, today's Jesus) Heaven is not a heaven. Heaven is used as a devout way to talk about God. Heaven means that God is king. Jesus taught the followers to pray that God will be his king in heaven above the earth. God's sovereignty is born on the earth. Jesus began the kingdom of God. It will happen now! His believers have also become one of them
New Territor's White is a theologian, former Durham bishop, and many told that many people forget the physical aspects promised by Jesus. "The Resurrection of Jesus shows the beginning of the recovery that will be completed when he comes back, part of why is the resurrection of all the dead, they" wake up ", appear, and participate in the update I will do. That is what John Polkinghorne said. "We will download our software to his hardware until God gives us new hardware to run our software again for ourselves. This is two good examples. Things: The period after death (intermediate state) is the period of inactivity in our own body, not in front of God, and as we reappear and manage, the more important transformation is that of Christ It will become a kingdom. "This kingdom will unite as" joining the new creation "by heaven and earth
Another book I'm reading this time is developing around understanding Jesus' thought, as his contemporary people understood him. It was written by retired bishops NT It is a new biography of the apostle Paul. Wright I will show you how Paul looks like a man and how he changed his life on the way to Damascus, especially how Paul saw the realization of Judaism he strongly defended in Jesus I found it. - Execution does not airborne the "saved" soul to heaven, but in Wright's word "Heaven and earth meet with the great action of the universe". (And I psychologically linked this to Heart 's "Heaven" and accomplished this on Earth.)
