NOPL is a file repository of the US government and reports to the Louisiana State University regional depositary institution in Baton Rouge. NOPL is a cabinet since 1883. It gathers a large amount of historical data, continues to gather federal documents primarily in online format, and displays records in the online catalog. NOPL is a subsidiary of the New York Foundation Center and is designated as a funding information network facility. As a member, NOPL receives a hard copy of the Foundation's major publications and accesses the Foundation Center's online database. This is the main source of subsidies information for the US non-profit community.
