The image of the body of children and young people is the image of the body. The two-dimensional model of the body image contains both perceptual components and emotional components. It focuses on how we feel about the size and shape of the body and how accurate it is about the size of the body. Recent cognitive approaches indicate that a body image is a complex set of cognitive patterns. The pattern is a collection of knowledge. Pattern groups can be used to perform important tasks such as guiding behavior, indirect scripting (or dialogue), and in some cases triggering appropriate emotional, physical, visual, and auditory reactions .
Research over the physical image of children and adolescents flourished during the past 20 years. This study is based on both the impact of bad physical image on children and adolescents, as well as both childhood and adolescent physical complaints that can lead to disability and eating disorders and risk of depression in adulthood I benefited. However, existing research is still primarily descriptive and characterized by methodological problems. The purpose of this paper is to identify the large gap in the literature on the physical image of children and adolescents. The focus is concentrated on four main problems: (1) measurement, (2) epidemiological data, (3) development trends, and (4) gender impact. Addressing these and related problems will help develop therapeutic and preventive programs
Body images are very important issues for most teenagers, especially as they become adults. Many studies on the effects of body images and self-esteem have been in progress for ten years. However, body images have always been the focus of research in many countries such as the US and South Korea, but Malaysia has not been extensively studied in Malaysia, as research on body images is limited. Although there is research on the body image, most research focuses only on the body image of a woman, not a male body image.
Men, women, children, teenagers, and adults - everyone may be affected by a negative body image. However, according to the survey, young people are particularly affected. Puberty is usually at the beginning of a negative body image, but without conscious change efforts, adults may be dissatisfied with the body image. The pressure to meet a certain "look and feel" comes from various parts of today's society. Information from media, people, friends, fellows has a negative effect. This is not useful for those who are too worried about the image of their body, participate in a weight loss diet, or talk about their body in a negative way.
