The video from the human body camera is currently captured for hundreds of thousands of hours a day, but this is certainly an important phenomenon in the US police. Last year almost all prosecutors used the video in the jurisdiction where cameras were deployed, of which nearly 93% were against suspects. Ironically, Senator Scott, other officials, activists, and press organizations are aggressively expanding Mount Hype on robotic cameras more than companies selling cameras - these companies are in a hurry Discover yourself with hope based only on the temperament of strange position of enthusiasm
Yesterday, I was reading a wonderful article on the police bodycam of the Donut County Police officer. This reminds me of using a human body camera in our department ... or we do not make full use of them. Regarding bodycam, there are many factors that most people do not think about. Citizens seem to believe that BodyCam is a kind of mysterious device that can solve all the problems in the world. As Donut County Cop showed in his post, this is not a fact. Also ... How do you know who can access the police body camera lens?
Bodycams are all outbreaks at discussion of police accountability, but are they the comprehensive solutions proposed by some people? There are a number of very promising body cams that cause litigation cases, but there are many other shots that do not make a difference (like the death of Eric Garner).
One of the reasons my department is not using a body camera is this. Believe it or not, most police people are concerned about your safety and privacy. Before clarifying the law on body cam lenses (at least in my state), the use of cams of police agencies brings a serious privacy risk to the public. Jackassery - Let's face it ... people are stupid. Regardless of your job, your education, socio-economic status, race, religion, age are irrelevant. Everyone can do stupid things. Especially for medicine and alcohol. Alcohol is a wonderful equalizer ... it makes a fool of everyone. Consider arguing between your wife's scream, or Thanksgiving dinner when you are drunk and loud police appear. Is not it your best moment? Although there is no harm! You play it with your neighbors and swear that everyone is kept secret ... unless you are a Corey count and your drunken jackpot is not viral. Do you really want to be that person?
