Body, Soul, and Spirit: Monism, Dichotomy, or Trichotomy?

What is a man? Is he just a body? Is he a combination of body and soul, or a triple combination of the human body, the soul and the soul? Most importantly, what does the Bible say? What is the difference?

The Bible clearly teaches that the person is a unified existence. However, this unity can be divided into two aspects, material and non-material. In the Bible, these aspects are differently called the body and the soul. 10: 28], the body and the mind [eg Rome. 12: 1-2], physical and mental [for example 1 cor. 7:34; James 2:26] meat and soul [for example 1 cori. 5: 5; 2 coli. 7: 1], meat and heart [eg Rome. 2: 28-29], of course there are people outside and people inside [for example, 2 Cor. 4: 16] Although humans are created to live in a material world, they can also exist in spiritual areas as intangible souls or souls. 12: 23; Revelation 6: 9 - 11]

Since they seem to distinguish between soul and spirit, now there are some texts. It is a Christian that people have three parts - not just the body and the soul but also the body, the soul and the soul - 5: 18; Hebrew. 4: 12; 1 Coll. 14: 14] These three or three-point methods (so-called) are possible explanations of these verses, but in my opinion the importance of evidence is clearly in the Bible It is contrary. Among the people inside us, we can connect us to the world around us and God. So, if the truth is the truth, I will say this may be that. But let us immediately add that these two aspects, soul and spirit are indivisible views or functions of our inner existence.

So what is the difference between all these in terms of what we are trying to keep? The answer is that it makes a difference. Because humans are simply considered to be substances that harm the Bible truth that we know God in God's statue. Trichotomy is often used to support the mysterious exchange between God and our soul, thereby bypassing our wisdom. Remember, the heart can not fully satisfy what the heart does not understand, and this wrong teaching can lead people to swallow other false destructive heresymes. I believe that human beings are a two-part or unified teaching of the dichotomy of the body and soul, avoiding these mistakes and believing it to be most faithful to the Bible. People who believe that human beings are trichotomy often believe in the following things. The body connects us to the physical world, the soul is the essence of our existence, and the spirit connects us to God. This is because it can be said that unsaved people have died spiritually (Eph. 2: 1; Colossians 2: 13) and can live physically "organized" . Those who believe that mankind is a dichotomy understand the body as well, but you will see that spirit is part of the soul connected to God.
