I have read a lot of blogs - there are also good and bad ones. Several weeks ago, I read the information on Bill Sebald. He said:
These are good blog standards. Basically, if it does not work, it is a weak opinion, or if you make an unsupported statement it may not be very good. This makes sense
Then I saw Elements of Content Strategy in Erin Kissane's book. Erin explains how excellent content works by correlating it with the background of the reader. There are three elements: body (feeling), emotion (emotion), and cognition (learning)
It is a bit familiar. The three blog standards recommended by Sebald are fully compliant with the user environment described by Kissane.
As long as the post is not connected at either level, the time of the reader may not be worth it (and they certainly do not share it). We all need to make sure that our content meets one or more of the following three criteria.
This is very practical. They can take several steps. Practical posts are compatible with the list format, making scanning of posts easier and easier to read. Example: How to write top blog articles
If you want to teach something, you need evidence of support. In fact, research and expert advice makes your claim more reliable
What did you feel when you wrote? This is your voice and your opinion. This means good or bad for you. If you do not mind, why are there readers?
Provide instructions: step by step instructions (such as this article), list of action items, or "how" posts are very popular for just good reasons. The goal is to assist readers. Example: SEO Best Practice: SEO List of Pages
Add example: An unsupported assertion may be made if you make an argument but do not provide an example. That's why Harvard Business School is focusing on case studies. There is no evidence, it is academic. Add examples, surveys, statistics, quotes, screenshots, and other supplemental content
Add a few attitudes: Do not hedge your bet. Edit the first draft and delete all qualifying words. They draw direct advantages from your writing. During the editing process, you can adjust your tone and enhance your opinion. This is an example.
"In many cases, blog posts are ambiguous and may not be useful to the reader, as this is usually not enough practical advice."
Especially if you are creating an e-mail newsletter, please respect the time of your readers by matching the content to at least one blog standard. They may return to visit you
Partial updates usually require you to post progress on your blog. It is a good practice to write the latest blog post, even if it is not your organization's criteria. This will clearly show you progress and the knowledge you learned. This is my GSoC blog. Here I updated my progress every week. The second coding cycle begins after the first evaluation. In the second stage, we strongly encourage you to discuss with the lecturer thoroughly to discuss the changes necessary for the process. This will allow you to reassess any disadvantages and take the necessary actions. This is good for both students and mentors in terms of project success.
Blog posts are everywhere - you are reading articles. This special blog post gets meta and pay attention to why, when, what, and lastly writing a technical blog post. Regardless of whether you previously wrote it or not, this blog post is designed to give you useful hints for writing blog posts. You do not need any special knowledge or equipment. First, set up a scenario by discussing blog posts. Next, I will explain all the steps from the beginning to the end of the writing process. There is no further discussion, let's sneak up together
I think that the common struggle that begins when they start blogging and writing blog posts comes from success criteria and expectations that they will obey. I can suggest why I did not write or start writing blogs, but I never thought of a good reason to start. At the moment, I do not yet understand what I will write. The problem is that I know that all of these intertwine me during the journey, but sometimes you just do not have to worry. Through not only writing, but through any creative process and effort, I think these ideas will emerge in the hearts of most people. I seem to have experienced a lot of thinking processes, I think that I actually spent more energy on the reasons not to start up, but to write
