This book shows that Antonio makes a decision using his life experience and understanding of multiple factors of different parents' heritage and discovers his beliefs. This novel can be used as a very important tool for understanding growth and as a sufficient understanding of how to make appropriate decisions. I was fascinated by Character Ultima. Her role remains strange in the novel, but her purpose is obvious. She helped Antonio understand his life and did not show him any simple answers. Ultima shows how to find a midpoint between parents' legacy in Antonio. She also tried to inform Antonio that adults he loves and trusts are not perfect, that their beliefs and decisions are not always right.
