Biosketch Format Pages, Instructions and Samples

Bio sketches are necessary for both competitor applications and progress reports. Look for the description below, the blank format page, and the sample bio tag. Make sure to support the SciENcv tool from multiple laboratories to create bio sketches and to help them format them automatically according to NIH requirements

NIH and AHRQ usually require the use of bioscience in applying for grants and cooperation agreements. Bio sketch is used to emphasize each person's eligibility for a particular role in the proposed project. This is NIH, but it is used by many sponsors including federal, state and private. Hyperlinks and URLs are permitted only if they are explicitly indicated in the grant announcement (FOA) and in the form field description. The use of hyperlinks is usually limited to reference to related publications and publication lists within bio tags. It is very unusual for the FOA to allow links to specific targets, research strategies, and other page limit attachments. Electronic micrographs and digital images of materials such as gels can only be included on research strategy pages. The maximum size of the image to include must be about 1200 x 1500 pixels using 256 colors. When printed on a regular (100%) scale on 8.5 "x 11" pages, the numbers must be legible

In terms of formatting, it may depend on what you need. Font style, font size, number of pages, etc. will depend on instructions from consultants. Sometimes you need to create a report based on different periods of your internship. You may also like sample activity reports.
