Biomedical Testing on Animals

However, animal rights activists are concerned only with animals, they themselves have never experienced individual influences as members of their families, and their lives may have been saved by drugs.

Biomedical researchers use animals to understand the functions of the body, the process of illness and health, and develop new vaccines and treatments for various diseases. This research is not just for human health, but for the purpose of developing new veterinary methods. Scientists also study animals to learn more about specific species, their biology and behavior. They may study animals as a model of psychological or social behavior. They can also learn from the special skills and abilities of animals. For example, naval researchers have studied the echolocation of dolphins, the installed bio sound system, and improved the artificial sonar system used onboard.

Animal experiments are experimental uses of animals for biomedical research and have been discussed for a long time. Each discussion has two aspects: the American Medical Association (AMA) and the Human Ethical Cureer (PETA). AMA's view on this issue points out that animal testing is necessary, and PETA discriminates against it. These two major groups "war" each other on the theme of animal experiments in biomedical research.

According to F. Barbara Orlans' book (scientific name: a problem in responsible animal experiments), 60% of animals used in animal experiments are used for testing product safety and biomedical research. The theme of animal experiments is a very hot topic, people are almost always against it. Some people think that animals are their partners and they like them, others think that they are just tools for medical progress. I think that animals have rights and should not undergo procedures that lead to mental and spiritual trauma.

An important area of ​​biomedical research is to use animal experiments to help researchers study various diseases. Animals are artificially induced and examined by disease. These diseases are artificially created in the laboratory and try to mimic human diseases. This allows researchers to develop new drugs by testing animals. Researchers will use animal tests to gain clues as to how diseases will develop in the body. By analyzing the animal model, scientists can understand the cause of the disease, the onset of the disease, and how genetic, environmental or diet contributes to the onset of the disease. For this study, many different kinds of animals such as mice, rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep, whitening, monkeys, primates, frogs etc. were used, but mice are a common animal model.
