Biology, The Five Major Compounds

2023-05-13 14:07:28

There are five main types of compounds that make up the human body. They are carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, nucleotides and water. These are very important to humans and can not survive without them. They have many functions that promote the function of human cells and human body. Carbohydrates include sugars and starches containing carbon, hydrogen and oxygen in a ratio of 1: 2: 1. Carbohydrates are classified into monosaccharides, disaccharides and polysaccharides depending on their size.

Synthetic biology is an emerging field with a relatively short history. In 1828, German chemist Friedrich Wehler synthesized inorganic ammonium chloride and silver isocyanate to produce organic compound urea. The term "synthetic biology" was built in 1910 by the French biologist StéphaneLeduc by Théoriephysico-chimique de lavie etgementationspontanées. Many important historical milestones in modern synthetic biology timelines have been achieved in the United States since 2001. Recent breakthroughs are as follows.

Historically, life on the planet and evolution of animals were shaped by five major extinction cases identified by leading biology textbook Campbell Biology: Ordovician Q 433 million years ago, 336 million Years ago Devonian, Permanent at 245 million years ago, Triassic after 60 million years, and Cretaceous by 65 million years ago. According to Telmo Pievani, a biological professor at the University of Padova, today the sixth mass extinction has occurred, as humans are the best predators and dominant evolutionary force in the human world. Among the articles published in Landscape Ecology in February 2016, biodiversity is shrinking at an alarming rate due to habitat destruction and division, species movement, overfishing and pollution.
