Arthur Robert Ashe Jr. is a person with confidence, courage, elegance and honor. I have shared many of these attributes with Arthur, but I am keen to achieve his high level of moral values and independence. Arthur was an African American born on July 10, 1943 in Richmond, Virginia. He had to face many ethnic struggles and difficulties. Instead, I was born and raised in Somerset, New Jersey in the 1990s. Therefore, my ethnic conflict rarely exists. If I live in the era of Arthur Ash, African Americans are not yet facing the ethnic struggle they did at that time.
