Billy Pilgrim and the View of Time in "Slaughter House Five" by Kurt Vonnegut

As Billy Pilgrim was not in time, this year it was 1944, 1945, 1964, 1967, 1968 and 1976. For many of us, we see time as a river. It drifts from the spring water to the sea. I can not touch the same water twice. At Kurt Vonnegut's novel Slaughter House, Billy Pilgrim found a wealth of time. Meanwhile, it is not a river but the whole ocean, and all water molecules will immediately exist extensively and forever. In 1967, Billy Pilgrim was kidnapped by an alien known as Tralfama Dorian.

Both sides of Billy's pilgrims may be destroyed in the five battles of Kurt Vonegut slaughter. I can teach war. In creating and developing Billy's pilgrims, Vonnegut's goal was to show the influence of contemporary war to the sensitive person who tried to play the game in the same way as social expectations. The report of Vonnegut in Dresden is the basis of his book "Slaughterhouse Torch". The main character Billy Pilgrim is representative of Vonegut himself. Billy experienced all that Voneguut experienced both physically and psychologically during the war. Pilgrim became a captive after the Bulge fight and worked at a slaughterhouse just like his creator. Vonnegut shows his ideas in Dresden as seen by his readers through the eyes of Billy's pilgrims rather than their own experience.

Billy Pilgrim, the central figure of Slaughterhouse - Five, or The Children 's Crusade, Duty - Dance with Death experienced the same approach as Kurt Vonnegut' s infantry in the Second World War. As Billy said, Voneget was sent to Dresden, protected from the wind, and in February 1945 the city was hit by a fire bomb. After the bombing, Vonnegt took out the bodies from the rubble and burned. This experience gave him a deep impression He worked hard to write this article and finally did this in the sixth and most famous novel. Adaptation of film appeared in 1972
