Bill for changing Philippine school class opening from June to September will help student avoid typhoon flood and dangers posed to health, safety and welfare of students

The school calendar in the Philippines is open from June to September, so students, teachers and guardians are protected from water and flood related diseases, and traffic accidents can be prevented. Especially when sudden interruption or discontinuation due to heavy rain or flood threatens the safety of these people, it helps to alleviate health hazards such as respiratory disease, dengue fever, leptospirosis. Because the class was interrupted by the typhoon, Philippine students lost 25 to 30 days of study time throughout the grade. According to the PAG - ASA DOST weather station, an average of 19 to 20 typhoons enter the Philippines every year. Malaysia and Singapore are open in January, China in February, Korea in March, Japan and India in April, Thailand in May, Indonesia in July, Hong Kong in September. Like the Philippines, Brunei Darussalam began in June. The Ministry of Education of the Philippines must comply with the new law and revise the "school calendar law" to understand the hope and welfare of students in the Philippines so that they do not receive the benefit of the DepEd privilege.
