Big Ben

The clock tower of Westminster Palace - formally St. Stephen's Tower - is called Big Ben. Tower is one of London's most famous landmarks.

When it was set up in the middle of the 19th century, the clock in the tower was the largest in the world. The name Big Ben actually represents the hourglass of the watch, which is the largest of the five ringtones of the watch. The other four are used as a quarter bell

Two bells rang as a small clock on the Clock Tower. John Warner and his son made the first 16 tons weighing bell in 1856. Because Clock Tower has not been completed yet, Clock Tower is temporarily suspended in the courtyard of the palace. Since the bell broke soon, it was recreated to 13.5 tons at 13.8 tons at the White Chapel Bell Foundry. Unfortunately, immediately after the clock tower was placed on the clock tow in July 1859, it collapsed. In this case, instead of rebuilding the bell again, repair the crack and use a lighter hammer to prevent more cracks.

A small watch may have been named after the first technical committee, Benjamin Hall. However, some sources say that ringtones are named after the British heavyweight boxing champ Benjamin Coant.

We will walk from Westminster Abbey and Big Ben to the pier and we are planning to go to Greenwich at the ferry. At first it is a brief explanation of Big Ben.
