Bible verses about Pride as the Original Sin

Among the first sins of Adam and Eve, Satan expanded the pledge to transcend them to their work in the Garden of Eden. Seducing them, he said, "You will know good and evil like God" (Genesis 3: 5). This helps motivate them to make the Creator bigger than they were given to them.

In Genesis 1: 31, when God saw all that he did, he declared it "very good". Pride is not "very good". That is the time when God is in their minds in the presence of Satan, not when they were created. This first pride move brought them to death, born from the presence of God and the garden.

At some point after God's creation, Satan takes pride, and he speaks of this desire as written in Isaiah 14: 13-14.

You said in my mind, "I want to rise to heaven, I will raise my throne above God's star.I will also sit on the furthest mountain in the north.I am a cloud of height I will stand up to the best, "

Adam and Eve's proposal in his garden reflected the challenge to God. This proud movement will separate him from God.

"Autumn pride" is a proverb similar to the original Bible passage of Proverbs 16: 18, but it does not accurately reflect the original text. Indeed, in this verse it is written that "pride disappears before destruction and becomes arrogant before falling down." According to the Bible, this indicates that destruction is the ultimate result of pride. People often use this sentence when they deal with difficult environments in their lives and praise the Bible; but they can not be found there. There is no definitive answer to the origin of this famous proverb, but the general idea is that it arises from a fable written by the Persian Sufi poet. It is not recorded in the Bible, but others say that it comes from King Solomon and it is attributed to the folklore of the Jews.

In the original classification, pride was the most "deadly" out of all sins and was regarded as the father out of all sins. It is directly related to the philosophy of Christianity and the story of Bible Lucifer. Lucifer, the tallest angel in heaven, succumbed to the pride of pride and asked other angels to worship him. This is contrary to God's will, and Lucifer and his followers come down from heaven.
