To tell the truth. We do not like rules. You can ignore it completely by looking at the speed limit flag. I know for me ... and I know. I just want to do what I want to do when I want to do it.

This is why we often ignore authority or even neglect. I helped guide the baseball team, and I saw how my parents talked with the referee. This is embarrassing. What does it teach children?

The Word of God teaches us to respect authority (see Romans 13: 1). Even though we believe that authority is wrong, we must respect this authority.

In David's life, you can see that this principle is alive. Remember that David was painted as the next king of Israel. But this did not happen soon. Saul is the king of Israel, and he wants to die in David. In fact, he is trying to kill him so that his rule is not threatened.

Please imagine what David and his men ran and suddenly happened. Saul went into a cave hidden by David and some of his people.

Saul did not go looking for a cave at this time. Saul intends to "release myself". Do you often tell this in church? But this is what he is doing!

Then please dress with David's sandals for a while. You know that God has promised you to make you the next king of Israel. The problem is that King Saul is still nearby. Well, at a very vulnerable moment, Saul who wants to die for you is in your grasp. One of your men whispers in nature. "Now is your chance!" In other words, please kill him and win the crown.

God has prepared this for you. If I were David, I may have considered the will of God. God promises that I will become a king. The king on the road is releasing himself in front of me. One of me confirmed that this is my time. I may have already participated in the killing

But David did the opposite, he saw the situation and made it possible to respect the principle of God 's authority to guide him. He believes that if God wants him to become a king then God makes him the king. Prior to this, the authorities were Saul. Therefore, David did not deprive of his own life, but was waiting for the Lord.

Respect for our authority is a mirror of respect for our God. So, we often live so that God does not know anything about what happened. But he does. He knows exactly what happened

Whatever authority you have in life, he will not understand it. These authorities are for your spiritual maturity. When you respect them, you will mature and respect God. When you do not respect them, you will humbly make God.

Think about the authority of your life. Ask difficult questions. Do I respect this authority? Do my personality and behavior reflect respect? If not, please appreciate the Lord and ask him to allow you to live the life he wishes.
