Improvements due to chemicals There are few things that are more important than the air we suck. From the fact and biology point of view, nothing is important other than this. Before starting this survey, I must reveal that I am not an environmentalist. This is not something I am proud of for any imagination. I climb the ancient growing tree and admire the people who stayed on the branch for several days. They do this to protect the natural wonders of developers and road workers. Several of my decisions seems to be similar to environmentalist decisions, but in fact, my decision is often based on financial problems.
The phrase "Improvement of life through chemistry" covers much of the ideology of the 1950s, through material understanding of chemistry, material progress provides enormous economic and quality of life. Many chemical advances have brought a clear benefit to users and the economy, but the strong interest in chemistry is based on the hype that chemistry can solve all the problems known to people. Indeed, many chemical advances (and side effects) are actually harmful to humans and the environment. Toxin in cosmetics, dumping to public sources, active use of dangerous pesticides, and development of harmful drugs. Nonetheless, chemistry has undoubtedly changed the world, making it possible to produce better products at cheaper prices. Plastics alone revolutionized the design of consumer products and achieved many medical and industrial breakthroughs.
Let's see some of these industries and their impact on the landscape. The chemical industry certainly fulfilled its promise to improve life through chemistry. In the process they release large amounts of toxins to air, water and land. This effect is very serious. These chemical wastes can cause millions of diseases and deaths. More than 3,000 people were killed when a chemical factory leaked toxic fumes into the air, looking at insecticide spills in Bhopal, India. Although it may be in India, the company is Union Carbide, a multinational company that operates in the United States. There are more dead, disease, and ongoing release of chemicals, the use of land and wildlife is decreasing. Since our waste disposal facility can not handle these toxins, their use contributes to the spread of pollution.
