Best Illustrated Books

The ten books shown in the photo are the winners of the New York Times Best Illustrator Children's Book Awards 2013.

Since 1952, the book review convened an independent jury to choose a picture book based on artistic value. Every year, judges choose the only annual award from thousands of picture books.

Indeed, the best illustrations designed for children are called "promises." Written by Nicola Davies and carefully interpreted by Laura Carlin, it explores the healing and growth miracles and demonstrates how one acorns can fulfill the promise of the entire forest. In the same way, Davis explained that people driven by the power of faith can bring promises of renewal and change. "Through the personal revolution, we can change the world," she told the audience of about 100 people at the National Press Club award ceremony. "The revolution starts with an idea."

To protest, I worked energetically to collect a wonderful list of 100 best children's books in 2018 (and some books at the end of 2017!). I widely asked for the best authors, illustrators, book reviewers, independent bookstore owners, and our own highly useful English tutor community, reading their favorite new releases . . It was at bedtime, but Ted was not ready to go - he put some fragile penguins in the bathtub, polished his teeth with lively crocodiles, and with milk in striped tigers I was busy with rinse. Finally, after jumping out of the last little trick, Ted yawned, and it was time to lie down on bed with his lovely friend.
