The events that brought about the American Revolutionary War played an important role in defining them as double spies. What is a double spy? Merriam-Webster describes a dual agent that serves the government. In fact, that agent supports other governments. One such dual agent is Dr. Edward Bancroft. Researchers performed a magnificent tug of war and I thought that Edward Bancroft was a dual agent who aimed at the United Kingdom and the United States.

The author suspects Dr. Bancroft as a person who helped Dean's death. Dean knows that Dr. Bancroft is a British spy He is a traitor and a double agent. Dean has too much information on Dr. Bancroft's mistaken behavior, and Dr. Bancroft is too nervous to leave out all the truth.
