Benefits of Registering with SLTDA

The Tourism Development Bureau of Sri Lanka promises to change Sri Lanka to Asia's most important tourist destination by the end of 2010. SLTDA will endeavor to develop diverse, unique and high quality travel services and products that make Sri Lanka a unique destination in the world.

As a registered travel agency / service provider, relevant information will be posted and advertised on SLTDA accommodation guide and all travel related websites. In addition, registered providers / institutions have unrestricted access to the currently developed online destination management system.

All registries / service providers are exempt from 3% tax on all corporate entities.

Registrars / service providers applying for loans and subsidies will receive all the assistance available for financing. In addition, industry support and support is also offered. We will inform you of necessary information on restrictions and changes of Sri Lanka Tourism Board. Subsidies and assistance in obtaining new / renewal licenses will be provided. The capacity building training program will be provided on a regular basis. SLTDA also provides assistance to registries / service providers to develop infrastructure in the surrounding area, protect cultural heritage and obtain permission to protect the environment. Registry / service providers are given priority access to the Tourism Crisis Management Fund to support tourism agencies affected by disasters in the event of a crisis.
