Being a woman and a Band Mate

Most people in society think that they should do something in their lives. Some people think that they are teaching or curing other people, others are trying to create something. The feeling that people have to create art in the form of sound is a common feature of people participating in the band. The reason why men and women become members of the music community is similar in most cases, if not the same. Because musicians are searching for music for the same reason, they are participating in playing music together.

The high school band helped me become my me today: team member, team leader, traveler of the world. It gave me confidence and pride to my fellow teammates. It gave me a lifetime friend, happiness, passion and purpose. You know that wasted things are not important in real life in 'real' work. Our motto on the band is "We have only one ambition: I will do my best, Is there anything else?" (Such a moving motto is in the business classroom I wonder?)

I am lucky to be able to communicate with a very talented friend in the band, and sharing ideas with band members is a valuable part of the band. Sometimes the band is very irritable. When you record yourself, you make immediate and final decisions about song creation, placement, overlay, mixing, mastering, and artwork. There is no need to postpone, compromise, or ask other people's opinion. This is a very effective process. I have worked with Jeremy (Ferguson, Battle Tapes Studio) many times for many years. After working for the band for 20 years, this really appealed to me. The downside is that I am not the most creative base player, my drumming is very basic. In many cases, I think that my song will be improved by some external idea, but this process takes more time. I can use this trade-off

For years, I was too rigid to lose my team mate! Usually, I regret what I said. It took me months to find a drummer and bassist as I said something because I lost a band member. Sometimes you really need to say something, but if possible, I will breathe before you make some inflammation. The band needs perspective. Think about all the bands that are no longer together for a slight difference. It takes a little (or a week) to understand what you have before talking and causing a rash. It is rare for four to five people to continue playing together in one band. Please do not think it is natural. Please use hints when you really need to face the problem
