"Animals are my friends, I do not eat friends." - As a vegetarian - George Bernard Shaw Vegetarian was an unusual lifestyle choice. Today, mainstream society is becoming more common and accepted. There are many reasons for choosing vegetarian food, but the most important are health reasons, environmental and economic reasons, and the most important ethical reasons. Sattva stands for purity and knowledge, Tama stands for ignorance and inertia. Everything with a higher Sattva component contributes to our spiritual journey, and everything dominated by Tama tends to reduce or impede our spiritual practice.
Vegetarian: I brought food poisoning on June 7, 20 th in the seventh time, and finally decided to switch to vegetarian food. I also have diabetic gastroparesis, but this basically causes stomach upset every day. There is no appetite. Since switching to a vegetarian diet, I not only open my own desire, my immune system is stronger, and I rarely get sick. I finally grasped power and found a physiotherapist with a new way of thinking. In fact it was not the most painful place, but to listen to the fundamentals of the problem and to focus. My first physical therapy reservation was 10/23/17, and since that I've been doing yoga + PT exercises every night, these are concentrating on breathing. Strangely, I mean there is no pain every day - this is the first time in 8 years.
