Behavior Modification and it Application to a Variety of Behaviors Within in an Educational Setting

Corrections of behavior and its application to various behaviors in the educational environment are modified based on observable precedents, observable behaviors and results. The behavior modification procedure consists of a series of steps to achieve the necessary modification of the target behavior. For the whole school year from kindergarten to 6th grade, we apply the behavioral modification program based on the token-based economy throughout the grade as an example showing the application of behavior modification.

Behavioral correction Behavioral correction is also known as behavioral correction or emergency management and is often used to treat behavioral problems in social, personal or school situations. Several clinical applications involve the treatment of phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder or eating disorder. Educational applications involve treating school-related problems such as lack of attention, hyperactivity, temperament, or other behavior that interferes with the normal function of the classroom. Special education teachers are usually well trained in behavioral correction. In each of these examples, we use the S - R - S model and its principle to shape, modify and control behavior.

Behavior management is similar to behavior modification. It is a less intensive behavioral therapy. Behavior modification focuses on changes in behavior, and behavior management focuses on maintaining order. Behavior management skills are particularly important for teachers in education systems. Behavior management includes all actions and conscious actions to increase the chances of individuals and groups choosing to perform personal, productive, socially acceptable behavior.
