Bed Bathing Process

Introduction: One of my clinical skills in the process of clinical internship is to wash the patient's bed. Before I got sick at the hospital I had little or no knowledge. The reflection model I chose to explain my paper is the Gibbs model (Gibbs 1998), the Gibbs reflection model is one of the most common reflection models and is divided into six reflection cycles. These are included in the description of events, emotions, assessment, analysis, conclusions, and action plans.

The purpose of this task is to discuss and identify nursing skills during deployment. As this is where I am, my nursing skill is to make a patient bath. In the first year of my nursing school, bathing skills are essential. You can decide how to plan and implement a combination of nursing care and patient's emotional care skills by joining a patient bathered in bed. However, I must consider the patient's privacy and dignity as well as the practical skills of the patient's health needs. Through this mission, the name has changed due to the confidentiality of patients and staff

If bathing in the bathtub or shower is traumatic, you can choose a comfortable towel bath. Traditionally, bed baths use only the most vulnerable and bedridden patients, they wash a little on their beds, rinse in the basin, and then dry them with a towel. However, more and more nurses are entering and leaving the facility, and we are beginning to realize the value and change. Towel bath uses a large bath towel and bath towel to wet the plastic bag with lukewarm water and rinse soap. Use a large bath towel to cover the patient's body, keep it dry and warm, and massage the moisturizing towel and bath towel on your body.

The basic bed bathing equipment that I need is a slide show which is a bath towel, hand towel, several disposable swabs, clean sheets, (2 sheets) washing bags (in this case red bags, customer is MRSA +) . Medical waste tablets, small yellow, pad and incontinence sheets, a cup of hot water, and a pair of pajamas and / or robes are offered by the hospital. Before entering the market, customers purchased their own cosmetics such as soap, shower gel, talcum powder, perfume, two flannel, one for upper part of torso and one for lower part. , Comb, denture bowl, toothbrush, teeth etc. In addition, customers require saline, disposable wipes, new dressing cut size and tape, and a yellow clinical waste bag to handle the old dressings.
