I feel that is out of place, most students are Caucasian, I can not keep my name. My teacher and students can not say "Josue". When they started talking about my name, they called me Josie, Josuu or Jose and the classes laughed. To tell the truth, I do not even know why they do. I am a great reader and I will never stop publishing anything in a single word. I quiet them in the classroom and let them believe they do not understand.

My father (and my mother) came to this country as an immigrant and left a country torn in war. He was an accountant in the beginning and became a lawyer at night. He was a successful lawyer in New York City, and many Koreans working for the law (and of course almost few Koreans). Later on, after I attended college, he was hired as a senior executive in a small cosmetic company that grew rapidly in the past ten years. In fact, this company is a great success case of immigration control - originally started by another Korean immigrant selling nail products from his station wagon

Recently, I feel that a part of myself has been missing. I have been thinking about my heritage and the origins of our family. My family keeps in touch with our more modern and modern versions, but I feel that it is necessary for it to connect with my culture at a deeper level.
