Iraq invaded Kuwait on August 2, 1990; it was 75 days from my 6th birthday. The aggression that happened in that day and the Middle East not only caused the beginning of the first Gulf War but also caused a series of events that determined the way my life would follow. It occurred between August 1990 and February 1991. When I was watching a manga and sitting alone in the basement, the war broke. The news anchor briefly explained what was happening in Iraq, then violent video clips began to play repeatedly.
