Ap Bac's last draft battle In the early years of the Vietnam War there were two main aspects: the rebel forces against the South Vietnamese government and the Vietnamese parliament, and the South Vietnamese government of the Vietnamese Republic of ARVN (Vietnam). This is the first time these two opposing units encountered in the battle. On January 2, 1963, the battle of Ap Bac proved to be more than just a normal battle. Many things that are going on are unclear and have not been solved.

Between 1960 and 1964, the war began to come to many American living rooms and often brought bad news. In the media, the battle of Ap Bac was explained as a disaster for the South Vietnamese army. The well-known self-destruction of Thich Quang Duc emphasizes the Buddhist crisis and depicts the Diem administration as a cruel and authoritarian regime. Media began to adversely affect public opinion, which became a government concern. As the war became fierce, the number of South Vietnam news teams soared. Since the age of 40 in 1964, this figure soared to 419 in August 1965. Corresponding to the large number of newsgroups, the United States had to adopt a more effective way to align these reporters in a line. In 1964, the Vietnam delegation of the United States and the Military Support Headquarters (MACV) decided to appoint "general emperor" Barry ยท Zossian to advise General General Westmoreland on information policy.

The South Vietnamese army and American advisers suffered serious defeat in the January Bat fight of Ap Bac and the battle of Go Cong in September. This is believed to be a catalyst for Vietnamese people becoming increasingly skeptical. Ap Bac is particularly politically sensitive, as the American senior official John Paul Vann is a consultant and American media is aware of what he thinks is a disadvantage of ARVN. The end of the Buddhist crisis and military coup duties to kill the dim is a serious event, but it is by no means the only event of the year. Along the President's expressed desire, the secret operation to North Korea escalated. Of course, the assassination of Kennedy himself brought Linden Baines Johnson.
