Just before his death, Timur appointed his grandson Pir Muhammad ibn Jahangir as his successor. Timur (Tie Muer) integrated most areas with his own big Timur Empire. Herat city became one of the capitals of his empire and his grandson Pierre Muhammad occupied the seat of Kandahar. Timur rebuilt most of the infrastructure in Afghanistan. And it was destroyed by his early ancestors. The area is progressing under his control.
