Barbie as mirror and model author, Alison Hooster, author of Cinderella, is associated with a body image problem. While reading this article, I waved my head as I completely agreed with Alison. Many times, throughout this article, the author asked me to stop thinking about what she said. After acknowledging what the author said, I noticed that I am related to many situations and that they can be applied to various scenarios. In the process of growth, Barbie, children's dolls and even movies are playing a part in our lives.
By the 1990's, Barbie was accused as a gender-specific stereotype, so she got a simple example. These Barbie dolls are wearing their own professional equipment: Dr. Barbie, Barbie Engineer, Astronaut Barbie, Veterinary Barbie - Collect all of these! My daughter saw this metaphor and liked to play with American girls I did not preach these historical backgrounds of dolls: Choose a career! A wonderful dream! To rely on! Today, our Barbie doll reflects Mattel's sensible movement, the image and race of a real person. But whatever the doll looks like, no matter how many accessories you, girls of all ages can play with the dolls. One of the reasons is to create your own world.
