Barack Obama

Barack Obama is the 44th president of the United States. Born as a white American mother and a father of Kenya black, he was the first African American who kept this position. Prior to becoming President, he served three terms at the Illinois State Senate and attracted the public's attention on elections to the US Senate on behalf of Illinois. He graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Law School and was a successful civil rights lawyer before entering politics. He was elected to the US Senate in 2004 and began his presidential election campaign in 2007.
