The ballet group Hippanico is an American dance company based in Manhattan, New York. It was founded in 1970 by Puerto Rican / Mexican American dancer and choreographer Tina Ramirez to show dances reflecting Hispanic and Hispanic American experience. It expresses itself as "the most important representative of Spanish cultural dance in the United States." As Alvin Ailey did for the black community, Ramirez's vision for the ballet group Hispánico made contemporary Spanish culture a place of American dance. As an art director for 39 years, 50 different choreographers with diverse backgrounds to provide interpretation of contemporary Spanish culture, taking advantage of the diversity of dancers' ballet, modern dance, jazz, ethnic and other dance techniques I invited you.
