Bald Eagles: Interesting Animals

Bull head eagle Bull head eagle is an interesting animal. Vulture includes symbols, danger, and excellent physical abilities. Two types of packaged eagle, Haliaeetus Leucocephalus Leucocephalus, Haliaeetus leucocephalus alascanus, found in southern North America were born in northern North America. As vulture seeds were found chaotic, people stopped breaking spices between vultures. Differences in color were seen in mature young vultures.

Bull head eagle is a citizen of the United States and a national animal. Vulture is displayed on that sticker. In the late 20th century, it was on the verge of extinction in the neighboring America. The population recovered and on July 12, 1995 that species was removed from the endangered species list of the US government and moved to the endangered species list. It was removed from the endangered species wildlife list in the next 48 states on June 28, 2007.

Vulture ever seen in most parts of the continent was severely affected by various factors in the mid-20th century, such as thinning of eggshell caused by use of pesticide DDT. Like many birds of prey, the bald eagle is specially affected by DDT due to bioaccumulation. DDT itself is not deadly for adults, but it prevents birds from calcium metabolism, makes birds aseptic or can not produce healthy eggs. Because the female eagle is too fragile to endure the weight of a fragile adult, egg hatching is almost impossible. In the beginning of the 18th century, the number of bald eagles was estimated to be 300 thousand to 500 thousand, but by the 1950's there were only 412 nesting pairs in 48 neighboring states. Other factors that reduce the number of vultures are extensive loss of appropriate habitats, as well as legal and illegal shooting.
