An autobiographical story is the story of people who remember (and often speak) the events of life. Some autobiographical stories refer to memories of important personal events such as "My first day" and "When my father died." Like memories of breakfast yesterday, it may seem that there are no other meanings. Many psychologists are studying the accuracy of memory of personal events. They asked a question: Is memory is true? Is this story distorted in the real situation? Other psychologists are interested in self-understanding of people by autobiographical story or evaluation of more general social and social relationships. Their questions are as follows. What does a particular memory mean to those who remember it? How do people use autobiographical stories in everyday life?

Essentially, the story tells a story. In the case of an autobiographical story, the story focuses on the author's beliefs and personality, and focuses on one or more major events that change his way of thinking. The main feature of an autobiographical story is that it has a specific plot, not a list of everything the author has experienced. Something happened in the story, it attracted the attention of the reader, continued her reading even afterward, and wanted to see what happens next.

An autobiographical story and biography is similar, as it is a story about the life of a particular person. But they are different types of literary works. Biography is a story of a person's life written by other authors. An autobiographical story is the experience of life written from the viewpoint of the author. The main difference is that the biography is written by the person next to the subject, whereas the autobiographical story is the story of the first person. Biography usually covers a major part or whole of the subject's life, but the story of the first person focuses on a specific experience and the author gains an important understanding or growth. Another difference with the story is that in addition to the explanation, the author has the opportunity to look back on her feelings about experience.
