(CNN) Australia is participating in many countries to take action in disposable plastic bags.
There are several signs of conflict. It has been reported that customers caught Woolworths employees after being told that there is no plastic bag.
After many complaints, the supermarket chain announced to provide a free reusable bag by July 8 to help smooth transition.
Dozens of countries including the UK, France, China, the Netherlands, etc. prohibit or tax tax on disposable plastic bags. Kenya may be the most harsh law: people who violate the ban will face a four year prison sentence or a fine of up to $ 39,000
Microbeads are small plastic particles commonly found in shower gels, toothpastes, cosmetics. They are not biodegradable and once you contaminate the marine environment it is almost impossible to remove them.
The Australian government approved the voluntary abolition of microbeads in 2016, but there are no legal or official ban, some manufacturers continue to use them.

Hamburg is the first city that banned coffee beans in 2016. Coffee company Nespresso also has started coffee bag recycling program in some countries and encourages customers to drop free pods at pick up points.
Coffee cups are also troublesome. Scotland banned the use of disposable coffee cups in government buildings earlier this year, Wales may soon follow
Many coffee shops, including Starbucks, offer discounts to customers who bring their own reusable cups. In London, Starbucks introduced "caffe latte tax" in many places and charged customers with a one-time cup of 5 pence (about 6 cents).
Bangladesh banned the use of plastic bags for the first time nationwide for over 10 years, as plastic bags blocked rainwater drainage pipes and caused massive floods. In 2004, Australia 's Oyster Bay in Sydney completely banned the use of plastic bags. Rwanda did not have any plastic bags for many years. The town of England, following the Modbury town which used plastic bags in 2007, followed it. China banned the use of plastic bags in 2008 and stopped using more than 40 billion disposable plastic bags in the first year. The capital of India, New Delhi, passes a strict law prohibiting retailers from distributing plastic bags, and may impose a fine or imprisonment on plastic bag manufacturers. Bhutan recently banned the use of plastic bags aside the total national happiness before consumption aside. South Australia banned the use of plastic bags in 2009 and Mexico City prohibited customers from supplying plastic bags in the same year.
