Current Exhibition: The current exhibition at Newcom Art Museum, EMPIRE celebrates the 300th anniversary of New Orleans. EMPIRE is a work by Los Angeles artists Fallen Fruit (David Allen Burns and Austin Young), a request by Newcomb Art Museum, Woods Studios, Pelican Bomb. Through the combination of more than 300 items, artists turned the entire art museum into an immersive art work, explored the history of people, explored cultural heritage, historical stories, and social construction.
