Attending a Reading by Leon Dash

Rosa Lee and Leon Dash read the Brown series and hosted Leon Dash's reading at YMCA. Professor Dash was born in Massachusetts in 1944 but grew up in the Bronx in New York. He explored the majority of Florida, then headed inland to North America. He was the first European to cross the West of the Mississippi River. He died in 1542 and was buried near the state of Mississippi.
