(CNN) An earthquake of magnitude 9 on Sunday and a strong aftershock shocked the resorts of Bali and Lombok Island in Indonesia, at least 91 people died and the people emerged from their homes, hotels and restaurants.
Indonesian authorities said another 200 people were injured. Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, Indonesia 's disaster management official said the number of victims is expected to increase.
Mr. Ahgang Mohamed Hadi, the disaster management director of the Indonesian Red Cross, said that hundreds of people were taken to local hospitals and thousands of houses were damaged.
A deadly earthquake occurred near Lorraine at the northern end of Lombok, at a depth of 31 kilometers (19 miles). It is also felt in western Bali.
