These reports are provided to the Ministry of Health in rural areas such as Berri, Loxton, Renmark in the Riverland Region of South Australia and Roma / Bungil in South West Queensland. The report presents the results of the Australian living standard survey. In the introduction report, Christine Kilmartin provides a detailed explanation of the rural research field. One of the focus of the report of Helen Brownlee is the employment of parents in two rural areas, Christine Millward's report 2, rural child rearing and child service, and report 3 is access to basic family care . Ian Winter's report 4 explained the residence and living standards, and the traffic report 5 was written by Gregg Snider.

My research focuses on how gender socialization will expand gender inequality between urban and rural areas in Mauritius. Therefore, to compare urban and rural areas, I will study families living in the Plaines-Wilhems and Savanna districts. There are many urban areas such as Curepipe, Vacoas, Castel, Forest-Side in Plaines-Wilhem area. On the other hand, I will study families living in areas such as the Savanna region, Mahebourg, Les Currier and Rosebell.

In rural areas, families are one factor that determines the performance of children. In this study, rural students were lower in performance as they were related to parents' education compared to urban students. In urban areas, most parents in rural areas have less education than their parents. Family career is the most important and important factor in determining learner's academic performance (Adell, 2002: 91). In this survey, when parents' expectations for education is low, we found that rural parents do not have the pressure to act well. In rural areas, most parents do not mind the child's academic performance, but parent encouragement has a positive impact on the child's grades. Some experts believe parental expectations are the most influential factor affecting young people 's decision education (Esterman & Hedlund, 1995; Smith, Beaulieu, & Seraphine, 1995).
