However, it is clear that population growth also depends on factors other than national income levels due to large differences in data (Neumayer, 2003b: 82). Therefore, economic growth is not a necessary condition or sufficient condition to reduce population growth. For example, it is claimed that investing in women's education and providing retirement insurance system is the best way to reduce population growth (ibid). Finally, there is another interpretation in the form of demographic and demographic analysis.
In the long run, if the environment deteriorates, the economy will not continue to grow. Environmental damage affects human health and may cause air pollution and water pollution. An aggressive measure to protect the environment is to avoid social problems that arise in the absence of proactive environmental protection. These include: Pollution occurs in places where the natural environment deteriorates in some way, such as harmful chemical substances, noise, unattractive developments. Pollution affects almost all economic activities such as air, water resources, land, manufacturing industry, agriculture and household consumption.
In the 21st century. Degradation of water quality poses a threat to human health and the environment as well as threat to economic growth and social development. In addition, as the population of the world continues to increase and pollution problems get worse, water already highlighted will face greater pressure. This is why the solution of water pollution is the top priority for governments, international organizations and society as a whole. Today, due to the "2030 agenda for sustainable development", the water quality problem is at the forefront of international behavior. Goal 6 is designed to clarify that "to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all people" in order to tackle the immediate task of water pollution. Water quality is also clearly stated in the objectives of sustainable development for poverty, health, responsible consumption and production, and land life. The question now is what is the relationship between water pollution and other sustainable development goals?

Contamination can have a very dangerous and harmful effect on the environment, which can impair the natural balance of the environment. The environment is degraded by the addition of pollutants to the natural resources of the environment, such as air, water or soil. Various examples of environmental deterioration are as follows. As air quality declines, breathing difficulties are caused by intake of contaminated air such as asthma and lung cancer, various cardiovascular diseases, chest pain, congestion, pharyngitis and the like. Consumption of water contaminated by the addition of various pollutants can cause skin problems such as skin cancer and skin rash, water related diseases such as diarrhea, malaria, and some heat. Noise pollution in the environment can also cause psychological effects of different productions to humans and the environment. The following table shows the effects of various gaseous pollutants on the human body.
